In 2022, the Montblanc Patron of Art Edition is dedicated to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. The Limited Edition 4810 is a splendid double edition: one pays tribute to Queen Victoria, the other to Prince Consor Albert. The Montblanc Patron of Art Homage to Albert Limited Edition 4810 celebrates the young Albert and features a pearly white lacquer body and a translucent burgundy lacquer cap with a special motif underneath. The finishes are in exclusive gold. The shape of the clip is a tribute to the wife's scepter and is decorated with a red synthetic gem. The top of the hood is inspired by the dome of the Crystal Palace and is adorned with the Montblanc emblem in fine white resin. The cap ring is engraved with the words "treu und fest", while the cone is decorated with a special engraving. To celebrate his personal family crest, the hand-crafted Au 750 gold nib features an embosssing inspired by the coat of arms of the House of Saxony. With exclusive gold and/or exclusive gold coating, Montblanc describes the bright hue of yellow gold that has become a symbol of the House's writing instruments.
