The first sports diving watch of Montblanc, the Montblanc 1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date, presents a dial with a "glacier" motif which gives the impression of looking in the depths of a glacier. This blue dial with "glacier" motif is inspired by the Mer de Glace (sea of ice), the main glacier of the Mont Blanc massif. His texture was obtained using an almost forgotten ancestral technique called Gratté-Boisé. The timepiece has a unidirectional bezel in two -tone ceramic, an engraved back and a interchangeable blue rubber strap with refined adjustments. The timepiece complies with ISO 6425 legislation for diving watches and is waterproof up to 300 meters.
